GR Medical is an independent Indian training provider. Our resuscitation and first-aid courses are designed in alignment with the current guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA), the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) — the bodies whose science and periodic guideline reviews shape resuscitation practice worldwide.
We hold the AHA's global mission in high regard and wholeheartedly support its effort to equip people across the world with the skills to save lives. Our alignment with these guidelines reflects our respect for that science — it does not imply that GR Medical is endorsed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of the AHA, ILCOR, ERC, or any of them.
Adaptation
What sets GR Medical apart is adaptation. We take globally validated resuscitation and first-aid science and shape it to the Indian setting — our hospitals, our workplaces, our equipment realities, our languages, and the emergencies Indian responders actually face — so that what you learn is both world-standard and genuinely usable here.
Certification
GR Medical issues its own course-completion cards. On successful completion of the cognitive learning and hands-on skills evaluation for your course, you receive a GR Medical certificate, valid for one year, confirming that you have completed GR Medical training to the current resuscitation and first-aid guidelines. GR Medical cards are issued solely by GR Medical; we do not issue AHA cards or the cards of any other organisation.
Trademarks
American Heart Association, AHA, ILCOR, European Resuscitation Council, ERC, and their related names, marks, logos and emblems are the property of their respective owners and are referred to here only to describe the guidelines our training follows.
Acceptance
Whether a certificate is accepted rests with your employer, regulator, or the requiring authority. In India, workplace first-aid and trained-first-aider obligations now fall under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (which consolidates the erstwhile Factories Act, 1948 and allied laws) and the applicable State rules; some employers or sectors may require a specific certifying body or format. Please confirm requirements with the requiring authority before enrolling — we cannot guarantee acceptance in every situation.
GR Medical provides training in CPR, Basic and Advanced Life Support, first aid and related emergency-care skills — putting confident, competent, India-ready life-saving skills into more hands.
